Christina & Mohamed in waiting…

LANCASTER MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER

This beautiful moorland maternity session was such a lovely shoot during last spring. Christina had responded to my model call in February and we planned the session for mid May. I sourced a soft, stretchy, lace maternity gown for Christina to wear and Mohamed wore his own outfit which matched perfectly. We’d planned for a golden hour session and I picked Christina and Mohamed up after Christina had finished teaching yoga.

I’d spotted the location previously on a family drive to the Wild Boar Park and thought it seemed an epic backdrop for the dress. The evening wasn’t a golden glow, but we had good cloud cover and even lighting conditions which meant we could trek up the hill and get a variety of shots in one spot. As a yoga teacher, Christina is really flexible and she was more than willing to try bending her body into different shapes to show off her beautiful bump - such an inspiration!

If you’d like to book a maternity session with me, I advise getting in touch when you’re around 20 weeks pregnant as my diary fills up quickly and it can take a while to plan a styled session. If you want to get in touch to have a chat about things, I’d love to hear from you…
