Jenni In Bloom

LANCASTER MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER

Jenni responded to my maternity model call which I posted on Instagram earlier this year. On a crisp March morning we chatted away whilst I snapped my camera, slowly moving around all the pockets of light in Jenni’s home.

For the start of the session, Jenni wore a beautiful 1930’s silk dressing gown which we had sourced from Vinted. We also tried some shots with a simple silk cover-up. I’d bought a bunch of white tulips as a prop and nod to the season. I think they work so well as a frame against Jenni’s beautiful bump.

I got so many lovely new maternity photos for my portfolio from this session and Jenni got a gallery of keepsake photos from such a special time.

If you’d love an at-home maternity session like this to capture some photos of such a fleeting time, please get in touch. The beautiful 1930’s dressing gown and silk cover up are now part of my slowly growing client closet and are perfect for maternity, motherhood and breastfeeding sessions.

I’m also looking to develop my newborn portfolio and work on a ‘shades of motherhood’ project so if you’d like to be considered for upcoming projects I’d love to hear from you.
