New home, backyard Family Photography Session — Morganna Monk

There aren’t enough words to convey how much love I have for this little family! I’ve known them for a few years - and they’ve become dear friends. I’ve seen both their girls grow-up from little toddlers to beautiful big kids. I’ve photographed them as a family one autumn a few years ago and took some portfolio photos for Jhuliana’s mobile salon business.

This short but sweet little session was part of their wedding renewal booking and it was the perfect opportunity to catch-up on plans for the event alongside getting some photos of their new home and practice a few poses for their big day. We captured their love amongst the beautiful blooms in their new garden, lots of family snuggles and shenanigans as well as a few photos inside their yet-to-be-decorated bedroom.

I’d love to do more backyard sessions. There’s something so special about documenting your family in your own space. A place that already holds so many memories.
